Clio for Clients is a portal designed for law firms and their clients to easily and securely communicate and share documents. Law firms can send documents and share key details like status and next steps for their clients to access on demand from the Clio for Clients mobile app or web browser. Clients can scan and share documents, access their case details in a central spot, and message their lawyer or others at the firm.

We encourage all of our clients to use their Clio for Clients secure client portal to communicate with us about their matter, receive and share sensitive or confidential legal documents, and view their bills.

Clio for Clients Portal Access

1-Time Use Login Links – Logging In

You are NOT required to set up a username and password to access your secure Clio for Clients portal. Rather, you will use your email address to obtain 1-time use secure login links each time you want to access your account.

Each time you want to access your secure portal, simply request a 1-time use, secure login link.

Visit https://clients.clio.com/
enter your email address to request a 1-time use login link (this should be the same email address associated with your matter).

NOTE: each invitation link will expire in 1 hour and will not work after you have clicked it once. You will need to request a new portal link each time you sign out or leave your browser, or allow more than 1 hour to pass before clicking on the link.

Your Initial Portal Invitation Email

Once your Clio Client Portal has been opened, you will receive an 1-time use invitation link via email which will be sent to the primary email address associated with your matter.
Please note, the invitation link expires after 1 hour, so please open your portal as soon as you receive this email.

Once you’ve clicked the link, you will be taken to your portal.
Please note, once you click Sign Out you will not be able to log back in with the link you just used. Request a new 1-time use login link to access your portal again.

Once you have Signed Out, follow the below instructions to access the portal again.
Click “Sign in again” to request a new portal 1-time login link.
Visit https://clients.clio.com/to request a new link to access your secure portal.

Enter Your Email to Receive a new 1-time Sign In Link

Enter your email and click Continue.

Check your email and click Sign in to secure portal link.

Check your Email for the requested portal invitation link!

Click “Sign in to secure portal”

Using Clio for Clients

With Clio for Clients, you can securely send Messages, Share Documents (send and receive), and view and pay your Bills.

Use the Top Menu once logged into your Portal to navigate to the appropriate section of the portal.By default, you will be taken to the Messages section of the portal when you login.

Sharing Documents

Click the Documents Menu to view and download shared documents, or upload and send us your documents.

View Bills

Click the Bills Menu to view your Bills.
